The
only French library in the Northern Emirates offers:
Press:
40 subscriptions to French newspapers (L’Equipe, Le Monde Diplomatique)
and magazines covering all the domains like current events,
economy, leisure, social sciences, arts, etc.
Books: approximately 12 500 books of French-speaking
authors or translations in French, with a special section
for children.
Video & Multimedia: more than 1100 DVDs, 880 CD, 35 CD-ROMs and 800 videos.
A selection of
novelties is added to the library’s collection on
a monthly basis.
P.S. New releases of the month can be bowered only for the duration of one week

The multimedia centre proposes free internet access with 2 computers at your disposal (+ 1 Hifi and 1 television).

Members’ advantages
In addition to the access to the documents, the membership at library gives you access to a reduced tariff on the cultural events organized by the Alliance.

MEMBERSHIP PACKAGES (The subscription is familial and not individual).
According to your needs, two membership packages are proposed:
PUBLIC MEMBERSHIP (NORMAL TARIFF)
- ONLY LIBRARY - 6 months: 300 DHS / 1 year: 500 DHS
10 books / magazines for the duration of two weeks
- MEDIA LIBRARY - 6 months: 600 DHS / 1 year: 800 DHS
10 books / magazines for the duration of two weeks,
2 videos + 3 DVDs + 3 audio CD + 1 CD ROM
for the duration of two weeks
MEMBERSHIP (REDUCED TARIFF)
Students of the Alliance Française, French Language Professors, Professor of the Lycée G.Pompidou, the AFLEC, Employees of the General Consulate of France, international Volunteers.
- ONLY LIBRARY - 6 months: 150 DHS / 1 year: 300 DHS
5 books / magazines for the duration of two weeks
- MEDIA LIBRARY - 6 months: 300 DHS / 1 year: 600 DHS
5 books / magazines for the duration of two weeks,
2 videos + 2 DVDs + 1 CD

SCHOOL TARIFF
1500 Dhs:
12 books, 10 magazines, 3 DVDs and 3 audio documents for the duration of 2 weeks
